Our Volvo Penta MDI replacement unit & panel.
Volvo Penta MDI unit can start breaking due to heat and debris build up. This system utilises more robust components and no circuit boards, providing you peace of mind at sea.
Used as a alternative for many boat owners who journey far, or are planning to, and want a more reliable & maintainable engine control module.

(optional) - Standard / Deluxe compact / Deluxe panel
MDI Replacement Control Unit
Fitting:
Panel:
Simply remove the old panel and plug in the new panel.
Secure the panel to the bulkhead with the fixing screws.
(If outside) Use gasket provided or gasket sealant between the panel and the bulkhead.
Wiring Loom:
Run the wiring loom through the bulkheads, Using grommets.
Clip every 30cm, as high up as possible.
then, connect the panel side to the instrument panel.
MDI Unit:
Remove old MDI unit.
Fit Our New Unit To A Chosen Engine Room Wall (Away From Heat & Debris)
Use Our Labelled Connections To Link Everything Together
